Hi,
I need to whiten once white now yellowy shirt without bleach. What can I use?
I found a natural bleach soup in a health food store but the content is just hydrogen peroxide. Can I use hydrogen peroxide?

I've tried boiling the shirt with vinegar and borax and baking soda. It worked a little bit but still not quite white.

What about Oxiclean? Is it non-toxic?

Thanks?

i would try using commercial bluing, or a very weak blue dye. i am sure there are natural fabrid dyes you can use. the only way i have ever gotten yellow whites white again is with bluing. i used the regular kind you find in a grocery store.

Oxi-clean uses the power of hydrogen peroxide-- whatever that is. So I think you're talking about three versions of the same technique?
