Anyone used one? What prevents the stitches from popping back out of the fabric later? Is this easier than hand embroidery? I LOVE hand embroidering so I'm not really looking for anything different, I just saw one of these at Hobby Lobby and was curious :)

Are you talking about punch embroidery?

If you're talking about punch needle, tension holds it in there. Some people use glue but I've never bothered as I'm mostly doing Christmas ornaments (it is just dead easy to make your own monogram patterns and simple patterns!) and things to be framed. I guess if you were doing something to be washed, you'd certainly need the glue.

I can not imagine anything easier. I did a lot of punch needle Christmas gifts because I really just love the look and texture of it. I'm not finding heaps of patterns I love, but it's been really easy to hack together my own.
