I am so serious. I bought a huge tub, Nutiva brand. I have the book, "eat fat lose fat" diet book. It has alot of recipes (but I need to have simple ideas to use it)
Ok what or how do you use your coconut oil?

i fry eggs in it as welll as making popcorn. i add it to roasted veggies which is an acquired taste. make fudge with equal amts of CO, honey or agave and cocoa. mix with almond butter, chill, roll into balls or keep in a jar and enjoy like that.
some add it to coffee and tea, i like it with honey on toast, mmm CO!

I season my cast iron with the cheap CO. I add about a TBSP of the good stuff to smoothies. And in curries. I know I use it for more stuff, but I can't think what right now.

I make soap with mine. And lotion :x
... okay that prob doesn't help.
I bet it would do pretty well in baking - like pie crusts, cookies, etc, in place of butter, but I haven't tried this myself. If it's extra-virgin you lose some of the health benefits by heating it in baking though, don't you? I can't think up anything raw off the top of my head other than putting it on toast/sandwiches.

I add it to my smoothies, use it to season my cast iron and make nut butter balls. I need to be better about using it more but DH hates the taste of coconut in our food so I have to be careful.
