This site has so much fantastic information that I am posting it as a sticky. I refer to it all the time anyway!

Postpartum Support International (http://www.postpartum.net/)

There are great sections, such as:

-Create Social Support for Yourself

-Quick Self-Assessment Survey

**See the menu on the left.

I was glad to see this as well. I was a bit disappointed that the PPD section was moved to be incorporated into another since this is so prevalent.
thanks,
J

I must agree with the fact that ppd is such a big issue and dissappointed that it is now moved into a different subforum or what ever you call it. maybe theres something i dont know as to why it was moved but hope the moderators and those involved in these matters will keep a watch on what happens.

Yeah, it's kinda symbolic of the way that ppd is minimized. But then maybe no one was writing on that forum. Anyway, as a counselor (and mom who had terrible ppd both times) I hope that awareness will grow.

Thank You!
I'm sure I've had PPD since my first son (almost 6 years ago), but it has gotten worse the past few months.
I ALMOST talked to my midwife about it at my postpartum exam, but didn't, 'cause I thought I would get better by myself.
I'm sure I need to talk to her or my regular Dr. soon, 'cause I've gotten extra cranky lately.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!

I've been in denial about mine for a while now. Started meds a couple months ago and they are helping tremendously. It helps to know that I am NOT alone and I am NOT crazy or a bad mother b/c I am not blissfully happy all the time.
