I have two Britax car seats right now, both will be in my car once this new babe comes. We did have one of them in dh's car so he could pick up our toddler from her play program if need be. I would like to still have a seat for his car but can't afford another Britax right now. I know there must be a safe and reliable car seat out there that is more reasonably priced - under $100? My dd is 2 yrs and about 33lbs, 39" tall if that helps.

TIA!!

This page lists some great options for seats, from the perspective of a CPS tech.

We have a Graco Comfort Sport; we could never afford a Britax. :LOL It's good rear facing up to 35 pounds, and has not been recalled or anything like that. I really like it.
