When dd was about 11 months I started using the Nuva Ring which induced my period to start again. The first cycle was irregular and lasted only 2 days with very light bleeding. Then from then on I had regular cycles of 28 days with 4 of bleeding.
At 16 months I stopped using hormonal bc in preparation for a future pregnancy (and because I was tired of what hormones do to me).
So the first month off was a 28 day cycle, then 27, then 28, and now 33.
I actually thought I was pregnant as I had some of the same symptoms as I had with dd's pregnancy.
I thought about temping but don't know much about it. I'm fairly sure though I can't do it effectively unless I am checking it the same time in the morning everyday and I rarely get up on any schedule. Also how much does breastfeeding effect temping and fertility? DD is 19 months and still depends on bf for much of her nutrition though we are working with an oral therapist to get her eating more solid foods, more regularly. We will want to wait a few more months before we start ttcing I'm just wanting to get things uncontrol and ready for a pregnancy.
