So, last night Samantha did not go to sleep until after midnight thanks to a 2 1/2 hour nap (that I admitedly enjoyed at the time). She has been sleeping realy badly lately so the last thing I wanted to do was stay up with her when I was bone tired. As my dh is going to bed I said "on the weekend you should stay up with her and bring her to me when she is tired".

Guess what he says?

"I will think about it".

THINK ABOUT IT!!!! When in the world did I become the sole parent! I seem to remember him being there when the baby was made so I realy don't feel like he is doing me any favours by helping look after the child.
I know he is used to his sleep since for the past 10 1/2 months Samantha would only setle for me but now she is older and I realy wish he would occasionaly take the midnight shift. She still sometimes goes to be at 1am and is up for the day at 6am and I am just getting wiped out.

So, anyone face a simular problem? How do you convince HIM that parenting did not end at 10 pm?
