First of all sorry in this is in the wrong place, I didn't know where to place it and it is a book I'm talking about (but not a book club) so...

Anyways I really want to read the book The teenage Liberation Handbook by Grace Llewellyn, but the library doesn't have it or has a lost copy, and Barns and Nobles would have to order it and it would be $20 at purchase. So would you trust amazon? how do I know I wont get scammed. Can you use paypal on amazon? any information about this would help greatly.

ETA: purchased the book, thank you for your replies I shall read them, hopefully everything will go well.

I've never had a problem with amazon!

Heck, I trust it so much that my wedding registry is there. Go for it, imo.

And I believe you can use paypal, it just depends on the seller. I've bought lots of books on amazon, used and new.

Buying directly from Amazon is very safe -- I've bought dozens of things from them over the years and the only problem I've had is that they shipped 2 of something once (they took the return with no questions).

If you buy from one of their used book vendors (the ones listed under "Used and new copies available from ..."), choose one with the highest possible feedback -- 98% positive or above.

They do not accept PayPal. "Amazon.com accepts American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, Eurocard, Visa, Visa Check Cards, payment from your bank account, Amazon.com gift cards, Amazon.com Gift Card claim codes, Amazon Store Card, and Webcertificates." This is from the Help section, which is linked at the upper-right corner of every Amazon page.

Hope this helps!

I don't know about Paypal, but Amazon is very safe, I've been using them for years with zero problems:thumb
