My Dh and are in the process of adopting my cousins 4month old baby girl. She has been in the custoday of childrens services since she was born, and the only reason we have waited this long, was because we didn't know about her. We get to visit her for the first time tomorow, but we only get to spend a measly 1.5 hours with her. Sucky.

We are told that it can take months before she is in our care full time.
Has anyone here adopted a family member?
