I feel like I've just accidentally stumbled into a goldmine! I was looking on our library site to see if we still have access to Rosetta Stone (we don't! *weeps*) BUT I discovered over 2,000 free online courses through something called "opencourseware".

They have classes from MIT (http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/web/home/home/index.htm), Notre Dame (http://ocw.nd.edu/anthropology), Carnegie Melon (http://www.cmu.edu/oli/courses/french/index.shtml), Berkely (http://webcast.berkeley.edu/course_details.php?seriesid=1906978525), and more (http://www.ocwconsortium.org/use/use-dynamic.html)! I know at one point I had to enter my library card number, but it looks like anyone can use these.

Also found Stanford University on iTunes (http://itunes.stanford.edu/)! I am ridiculously excited over this. :bag:

Too cool! I've found a ton of stuff that I want to play with myself. Thank you for sharing!

Now, back to cleaning for the in-law visit that starts tomorrow...

Thank you very much for sharing! This is very exciting. I hope it perpetuates the self-learning movement and encourages others to hire and value people for what they know and can accomplish as opposed to what they have paid for their degree :)
