anyone in the greater Rockland area?

I have just moved back to Maine after 10 years in California, where my dd was born at home in June of '03. its great to be back, but I'm definitely missing my like-minded mommy friends. I'd love to get to know anyone in the area...

Hi! I'm in the Rockland area! I have three kids, ages 8, 4 and 4 months. I'm originally from Massachusetts but have lived here for 10 years now. Are you originally from this area?

Yea! I was wondering if I was all by my lonesome around here! I grew up in Brunswick and then moved out to California to go to college, where I met my hubby, who is from Santa Barbara. We just moved to Owl's Head (with my mom and stepdad!) 2 months ago. Our daughter was born June of 03. We wanted to raise her here, as well as many other reasons for relocating. We're excited to be here (especially now we are in the middle of buying a house, something we could never do where we were in Cali), but are missing friends and community. I've been looking for resources and where to get involved in things around here- playgroups, etc... there's an AP meeting in Rockland tonight, but am not getting motivated enough to go. i'd love to chat with you about things in the area.
