Emergency - INFO needed about needs of a 18 month old

My close friend is going into mediation with her son's dad on Thurs - he wants shared custody and overnights. She desperately needs information on what the bonding & needs of an 18 month old so she can get her heart & head straight going into the meeting. Any articles or books or quotes would be helpful - thank you!!!!
