I'm fairly certain my DS is dairy sensitive. When I cut out obvious forms of dairy he became a different baby. (I don't drink milk or eat cheese...but I don't read labels) Gone was the waking every couple of hours at night (he went from up every 2 to up every 4), gone was the constant need to nurse during the day (he started taking LONG naps), gone was the fussing while awake (he became content to just be awake and look around), gone was the horrible and painful gas!
Well...like I said, I didn't read food labels because cutting out the obvious stuff seemed to be enough...until today. Yesterday I was craving donuts (I know, healthy choice) and ended up eating 4 glazed with choc icing (I usually eat healthy! Really!) On the box it said one of the ingredients is milk, but it was toward the end of the list so I didn't think there was THAT much. That was earlier in the morning. Last night we were up every 3 hours and today he's been fussy and won't nap and his baby acne looks worse and has spread to make his hair bumpy too. He's also had a couple of poopy diapers with a tinge of pink in them (from what I've read on MDC, a telltale food allergy sign) I mentioned to MIL that I think it was the donuts and she said "He cant' be THAT sensitive!" (and then asked how I was supposed to get my dairy in...she's one that believes you NEED cow milk...but that's another thread)
So, after the novel, my question is: Can he be that sensitive? I also ate a brownie yesterday...could it actually be a chocolate sensitivity?
TIA!
