So it's been 6 weeks or more since I m/c, I've had a period. I took 2 pregnancy tests, both negative because the physical symptoms are driving me crazy. I've been not pregnant almost as long as I was pregnant.

I, it seems, am not pregnant, my breasts however are. I still have on and off the same tingly supersensitive nipples, and the don't seem to have gone back down to their pre-pregnancy size.

I feel PMS-y and I'm CD 15 which is way too early for me.

Did anyone else have lingering physical effects? If so when did they subside?

I wish I had a textbook answer for you. It's different to every woman. From what I've seen the longest it takes for the body to bounce back is 3 months. I don't recall anyone saying it went on longer thant that.

I'm so sorry, this must be pulling at you in all directions :hug You may want to try some red rasberry leaf tea to tone your uterous - it certainly can't hurt.

Did your milk come in after the miscarriage? I'm wondering if these symptoms could go on longer if theres some nipple stimulation going on. I don't really know, it's just a thought.

In the meantime, you do want to keep the fluids going and make sure you're getting enough rest.

Thinking about you.
