Do your post counts go up only when you post in a new thread, meaning one you have never posted in before?? I saw a thread "since we are all trying to rack up some posts" but I had noticed previously that my post count remains the same when I reply to a thread I either created or had posted on before so Ifigured that that thread would not really work. Am I missing something???
TIA

As I write this your post count is 475. Is it still 475?
Post a reply to this thread, writing your post count. Then see if it increases when you submit your reply.

Cynthia-
My post count went up however I just went and checked a few other threads ie: proper care and feeding of husbands and you can see that my post count remained the same each time a posted a reply. :scratch I feel liked I may have missed out on a lot of posts!: crying

It will show as the same current number wherever you look on the boards. That number is not the number of that post you made but rather the total number of posts you have to your name. So of course wherever you look it will say how many posts you have made total. And each time you post it will go up one and every post on the boards you have made will be updated to reflect that total number. Does that make sense?
Your two posts to this thread after my post brought your total to 477. And your post to this thread: Another movie game from the threadkiller! (http://www.mothering.com/discussions/showthread.php?s=&postid=1116095#post1116095) brought it to 478 which is what now shows under your name. :)
