can't reply to threads from email

Hi,
whenever I try to reply to a thread I recieved in email notification all I get is login screens. I log in, type my reply, hit submit, and the login screen comes up again. So I login again, and then I get a thread that says vbulletin not specified.

I tried clearing my cookies but it didn't help.

Did it happen to you when you posted your reply for this thread? Your post is here and the link you gave is for this thread so I'm not understanding the problem.

Yes it happens for any thread I try to reply to from email.
The only way I could reply to this thread, (or any other thread) is if I go back to mothering.com, click discuss, find the thread and then reply. I can't just click the links in my email and reply. I can read the replies, just not answer them.

Does that make sense? Sorry, I know its confusing...:confused:

Try copying and pasting the link in the email to a browser window. If that takes you to the thread so that you can reply I can only guess that there's a malfunction in your email client.
