Curious.........
Just wondering if u/s is the only way to determine where the placenta lies, or if it can be determined by palpatation, or some other way? :confused:

I can hear it sometimes with the doppler/fetoscope. An experienced midwife would probably be able to at least tell you whether it is high/low, etc. by listening. The problem is that if it is low, I don't know of any way to tell if it is toooo low, other than the fact that some women with low-lying placentas will have bleeding in their third trimesters.
