what is up with the black marking on some posts? its like a big peice of black tape?

is this done to block out somthing? i just got it on the general hospital thread?????

It is meant to cover up part of a response. You drag your mouse over it and it will "reveal" the message. It is used alot in movie or book threads. Try it. I don't have a clue how to do it.
