Ignore a User?

I'm growing weary of certain poster's lack of consideration. Can I put this person on "ignore" somehow (she is not PM'ing me or anything), and if so, would this person's posts which are quoted by others show up? I'm not thinking very clearly right now.....hope this made sense!?

to put someone on ignore just click on their profile and then click the little "add this person to your ignore list"

unfortunately if someone quotes them, it still shows up in the reply. boy I wish it didn't

I don't know how it works with PMs but for posts you will see

Ignored Person's Name (click here to see their post)

then the rest of the thread. So you can read it if you want. That's the problem for me - the urge to look is just overwhelming sometimes, even if I know I will be :cuss :cuss :cuss afterwards...

If they try to PM you, the message just won't show up. I don't think they find out, either.
