We need to find a new ped, since we're just not gelling with dd's current doc. We selective vax, and plan on letting her self wean, etc. I'd like to find a natural parenting friendly dr. Any suggestions? TIA

We go to Coastal Pediatrics in Portsmouth (just off rt 95 or route 1, depending on which direction you take). I shopped around a lot for pediatricians before my son (now almost 4) was born -- called all over the Dover area, and was not comfortable with the replies I got when I told them we'd be APing, delaying some vaccinations, not circ, etc. But Dr. Kevin Hodges at Coastal Pediatrics (suggested by my midwife, as many of her other clients see him) was and is great. He trusted our judgement about delaying vacs, was fine with not circing (as one would hope!) and is supportive of extended nursing -- never suggested that I wean DS, even when he was 2. I'm not quite as fond of the PA who practices there (Steven Parker) -- he seems more mainstream -- but Dr. Hodges has been great.
I'm in the Dover area, btw, if you ever want to have a playdate :)
