You know, this whole due date thing has me really up in arms this time. My doctor is going with August 25? 26? (can't remember) based on the LMP I told her. But, since I'm planning a VBAC, I know they're kind of jumpy about "baby getting too big" and won't let me go past 41 weeks, so I may or may not have given her accurate information. LOL. I just don't want to be on a clock in any way this time.

You don't have to put all that last bit up there. It is the most different thing for me. My mom had studied to be a midwife and was, with dh, an indispensible part of my first two births. She never finished her liscencing, but frankly, I'm not at all sure that mattered. Anyway, 2 years ago she decided to get into the only professional program that was with a stable entity and would accept a 50 yr old. So, now she is halfway to becoming an MD through Ross University. She has finished all her course work and is starting her rotations. This is very comforting to my midwife (who is doing all my prenatal since my mom isn't here.) I think she was probably a better midwife before, and that they have started to cloud her intuitive nature. I will be doing lots of praying that it is returned to her if and when necessary!

Sorry-that was probably way TMI for a sticky...sometimes I do go on and on.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Its been crazy....

My little girl finally came! :)

It was a very long and hard birth experience....

had to have emergency induction with pitocin, ending in an emergency c-section and losing 20% of my blood. Try to give more details later.

BUT, it was so worth it! :)
