View Full Version : low HcG levels
Bunches

Hi.... I am writing to see if anyone has experienced low HcG levels in their pregnancies. My level at 18dpo was 84 which was within the range. Now, 9 days later, it is only at 437. It is supposed to double with each day. I called my midwife and I will see her tomorrow for further tests and possibly an ultrasound. I am also feeling asymptomatic as far as pregnancy is concerned. No spotting at all but a little crampy today. :crying
I am praying and sending sticky vibes your way. I truly am!!:sticky :sticky I feel grateful to have a forum of supportive women who collectively support each other through tough times as well as wonderful, beautiful times. I appreciate that despite the fact that I have been crying all morning about this potential loss. This is my first pregnancy and it took 7 months to get here. The threat of a loss is so sad.

Hi Bunches,
I don't have any experience with low HCG but do want to send you a big hug! :hug :hug You and your niblet will be in my thoughts and prayers. I'm so glad that you're able to see your MW tomorrow.
Take good care of yourself!

(((Bunches))) Everything I've read says that is needs to double every 2-3 days. I think at this point, it really needs to be closer to at least 700. I am so sorry! I hope it all works out for you.

The spotting turned to bleeding so I went to the ER. My Hcg levels dropped in half so this is a miscarriage. Thanks to everyone again for your support.
Sweetpea - why would you be in the same boat???

My heart goes out to both of you for what you each are going through.
I am thinking of both of you today. I suffered a loss just this past November, and it was hard.

thxs, I'm not gonna count myself out yet, I had a test on Friday. That was positive. I dont want to know the numbers. I will go in a few days again, hopefully what I'm having is on the "normal" side and I'm just over worrying. My bleeding has stopped and I'm not cramping now more so I don't know. My heart just felt like I was m/c, I've been so down all day but my brain tells me to be positive so thats what I'll be till I get the next test.
So sorry again bunches, I was very happy for you when you got your bfp :hug

So sorry, Bunches. It's heartbreaking to lose a baby. You're in good, understanding company here, as it seems several of us had recent losses. We empathize with you... Sweetpeasmom, I hope you and your baby will be OK! Thinking positive thoughts for you.

Oh Bunches...I am so sorry. It is so hard to loose a child. I lost a baby at 12weeks two years ago, and it still hurts sometimes. Please take care of yourself, drink lots of water, and rest. I'm thinking of you.
sweetpeasmom~sending lots of postive thoughts and sticky vibes...hang in there. I am always super crampy at first. Hugs~Debi

The only thing I can say is the women on this board are the BEST. Your thoughts and words have meant soooooooo much to me. I didn't even look on here yesterday because I was so down. I was so pleasantly surprised to wake up today and read so many kind, supportive words. I am wishing you all a healthy, happy 9 months and I am truly happy for each and every one of you.
While I am sad, I have a wonderful, supportive husband on my side, and we will get pregnant again. (not right away, of course) I feel that in my heart just as I knew I was going to miscarry the day before it happened. This experience has taught me to trust my instincts and know that my body is healthy and doing what it needs to do. That doesn't mean I am not grieving though.:crying
sweetpea - let us know what is going on!! Glad to hear you are feeling better. :sticky :sticky My thoughts and prayers are with you!
