i am so so so exhausted i can barely keep my eyes open. i actually did a load of laundry last night because i completely ran out of underwear and had to go out this morning. even dh told me i look like crap (in a much nicer way of course :LOL :love ) i need to get the house clean because we have someone coming over as i type but i can't get my buns out of this chair. i had some crazy dreams last night too so it wasn't very restful....
ok...gonna go clean....gotta go clean....

I am so tired too! I actually spent a good deal of time crying about how tired I am on Sunday to DH. Everyone keeps telling me to sleep more but it's kind of hard to let go of everything that must get done and go imeadatly to sleep as soon as I get home from work. Plus I work in some ones home which has three giant beds two comfortable sofas and many plush chairs. I am trying to wait to tell my boss that I am pregnnant but the past two days I have considered telling her in the off chance she might say why don't you sleep while the kids are sleeping :fingersx:
I have been just trying to the bare minumum and sleep when ever I can. I hope this passes for all of us.

I don't really have any answers for you. But I know a few things that help me(not all of them at once, but maybe one or two a day might work)-

~Set a timer for 5 minutes several times a day.
~Pick one small thing to do (I like having a clean toilet freshly scrubbed, ifykwim)
~Take good care of yourself (ie, don't go 5 or 6 days without showering 'cause you'll start to feel like crap, even more so then you started out at)
~Get outside daily, even if it's just to lay of the ground moaning
~If you feel well enough, go for a walk outside (this is nice around 8:00 pm, partilucarily if your dh will walk too)

Hope something here helps. I can certainly relate. My house is truely TRASHED. But, my toilet is scrubbed and I rinsed my kitchen sink out last night. (It STANK, and was making me gag! Thank you soft scrub with bleach!)

i clean one room a day, i do what i can in it and if it doesn't get finished then i get to it the next week. i have found this way i usually get everyroom more or less cleaned once a week without it being overwhelming. that said we(the 2 year old) are just getting over a 2 day stomach virus so i am now 2 days behind sigh.... we have people coming over thursday so i am trying to get the place looking decent.
i also try and nap with my daughter, it does mean i don't get as much done during the day, but i feel more rested.
and i also second getting out every day. my little girl loves playing and i can be zombie mama and watch her all while getting fresh air :)

well i somehow managed to get the dishes done and then went to use the bathroom and to my horror realized that when dh was cleaning up after dd this morning, he managed to get some of the poop on the side of the toilet!!! :blush i can't tell you how thankful i am that i found this and had a chance to scrub the bathroom before my friend got here!!!

i felt a lot better having someone to socialize with and all and my energy level rose to a decent level, but then crashed as soon as they left. of course :LOL i've noticed i feel sickest at night, around dinner time and on. it makes cooking dinner especially fun :p and i have super pepper smelling powers. that happened last time too. dh ground some pepper on his food at the counter and when he brought it over to the table and sat down, it was all i could smell. i wonder why pepper does that.....is it bad for pregnancy? i had an aversion to oregano last time (which i normally love) and read recently that too much is a bad thing :shrug

About the black pepper... I haven't read anything about pregnancy specifically but I know it's supposed to be hard on digestion.

I could sure use some more energy, too! I get up at 1 am to go to work (I deliver 300 newspapers EVERY day). I'm back home by 5:30 am and can usually get another couple hours of sleep. I should be in bed by 7 pm, but that is a very rare occurance, it's usually closer to 9. So all together, I'm getting about 6 hours of sleep every night and chasing three kids under 5 all day. The oldest doesn't nap anymore, so none of that "sleep when the kids sleep". I'm only 6 wks, and I know the fatigue will get worse before it gets better. ugh. I'm trying to eat better, less sugar and processed foods, drink more water, etc. But my addiction to diet coke and chocolate oreos is a strong one!

So I guess I don't have any good advice, but hopefully someone else will!

what about herbals? anything safe to take?
