For the third time today- and mind you, I've only seen my midwife three times- I burst into tears after hearing my baby's heartbeat. I lost my last baby at 32 weeks, and while most of the time I feel okay, I just lose it every time I am reassured that this one's still alive. I'm only at 12 weeks- am I going to keep being such a wreck? I'm generally a very private person, and it really embarrasses me to flip out like that in "public;" while my midwife and nurses are of course understanding, it doesn't make me feel any better about it. Anyone else?

:hug, I completely understand. With my son's pregnancy I was so thinkful for my doctor. I broke down several times in his office and he always told me that he couldn't guarantee anything, but everthing was looking good so far. It was very reasuring that he acknowledged my feelings and also gave me hope.
I broke down when the same ultrasound tech that told us our baby had died came in - He asked what was wrong, I told him and he kindly said he'd send somone else in.
I think what you're feeling is normal. You'll have some difficult days, but you'll also have some good ones.
