With my first two babies, I only took a picture at 24 weeks, and again at 38 weeks. I also had a pregnancy calendar with my first. Which I don't think was enough, so I kind of over did it with my last baby, I took a picture of my belly every month at the same time, and in all my favorite maternity clothes, and on the holidays. I also did a belly cast and had professional pictures done. I kept a notebook that I jotted things down in, like info from appts, notes from each month (cravings, how I felt, etc.), and dreams I had. I plan on putting it all together in a scrapbook...one day!
This pregnancy I have been keeping a journal online at fertilityfriend.com that I can print out in book form at the end. I plan on doing another belly cast and professional portraits. I've been taking a few belly shots, but not on a specific time frame, just when I think about it.
So, if you do, how do you document your pregnancy?

With my first pregnancy I took a photo every month. (naked, one from the front and one from the side.) I also kept a diary which I divided in to weeks and wrote about how I felt.
This time I haven't got around to taking any photos but I am keeping a similar diary. I like reading the old one so I can see how things compare.
I kept all my maternity clothes but that was because I intended to wear them next time.
I have a few photos of me in later pregnancy (with clothes on this time!) which are the ones I would show people. I also have a photo I took of myself the day I found out I was pregnant, but this time I forgot

Usually with photos from the side of my pregnant belly. Wrote down the books I read and thoughts I had. Jotted down names and little notes along the way. What made me sick and what I craved. Things like that.

My SIL gave me a pregnancy journal to write in, but I'm horrible at keeping up with it. There are places for pictures of each trimester, but I never got around to taking one ( I'm now 15 weeks). She also gave me a calendar with stickers and such, and that's pretty fun. I usually forget to put the stickers on until a few weeks later...but it's easier to slap on a sticker than write a paragraph! :innocent
I would really like to start taking monthly (or so) pics, but I have this little fat roll from before I was pg that I'm a little nervous about showing to the world. :tiptoe It seems to be getting bigger lately--maybe the uterus is moving it up & out? ;) I'll probably just grin and bare it, for the sake of actually having the pics.
I guess it's kind of my personality... I never did finish our wedding album (almost 2 years old now). I need to get better so I can do a good job with the baby book! :hide:

this is such a great question.
with the pregnancy that ended in miscarriage, i kept a pretty good journal--at least once every few days. with this one, i find that my posting here has kind of replaced the journal--i guess i should save my posts. i also plan to take lots of belly pictures when that gets interesting; a few photographer friends have expressed interest, and i think it will be neat to have a document of the biggening.
