Does anyone know how I can get turmeric stains off the stone kitchen floor in the RENTED house!!!
My ds (18m) loves emptying my spice/herb drawers while I cook and plays with the jars all over the floor, sometimes they get opened, today I didn't notice until the turmeric had been well and truely rubbed in by his socks and butt!!!!!!!!!
I've tried an orange oil based eco-cleaner but nothing!
Ideas are most welcome!!

first, try scrubbing it with a baking soda paste.

then, depending on what you have handy, try 3% hydrogen peroxide, or

try scrubbing with a washing soda paste

if that fails, leave the washing soda paste on overnight, and throw a soggy-damp folded towel on top to keep it wet all night.

if *that* fails, paint the floor! <LOL!>

Seriously, if none of that works, LMK, and I'll see what else I can come up with.

Oh! You should avoid getting the washing soda paste on bare skin/eyes, mouth, etc.
And if the floor is waxed, this will strip it
