New to group...

Hello! I've just stumbled upon this group and thought I'd post hello. I am due July 4th with my second. My first is 2.5 years old. This time we are planning on cd'ing and breastfeeding past a year. (With my first it was 10 months). My biggest peeve right now is everyone keeps mentioning I look like I am going to "pop" at any moment. I am carrying all my weight gain in my belly it seems. I still have 6 weeks until my due date. I can only imagine what I will look like by then.

We are also in the process of moving soon(Memorial Weekend) I don't want this little one to come a day early. I need all the time I can get. My last delivered 2 days past her due date. Be thinking of me. My midwife said she rarely hears a woman asking to go late but I'll take an extra week if I can. :)

Welcome. I know just how you feel. I'm not due 'till July 24th, and I've been getting the "about to pop" comment for over a month now. Why would you put such a violent picture into a preg. woman's head??
My other peeve is touching my belly. I don't mind if I know you well, but people I only know from the elevator at work make those cutsie noises and just help themselves to a rub at my belly. The way I see it, if you would get mad at me for rubbing on you, then why would I be okay with you rubbing on me? I have to be careful of them touching my belly button too, it makes me naucious; so I just tell them if they do it again I'll :Puke on their shoes. That seems to get them away for a while. :D

my best repsonse to unasked belly rubbing is: "Does this mean I get to rub YOUR reproductive organs now?"

Luckily, people sence not to touch my belly... I've only had one person(my cousin) do it so far. But I'm not sticking out as much as you are, I presume, because people always say to me "Oh, you're so small....":eyesroll

Welcome! :) Obviously you won't deliver until July, since you've subscribed to a July Mamas' group :LOL right? I get that a lot, too. People keep on telling me that I look "done" (like I'm a turkey or something). I've been trying not to let it get to me- I'm afraid I might start believing them...
