Can you say pubic bone pain? Anyone else having any painful pg-related things happening yet? I cannot believe this pubic bone pain is starting this early (I'm 17 weeks). It's gonna be a long, long summer! Maybe babe will rise up in my uterus as it gets higher up and take some of the pressure off.

Here's to hopin.

:hug I'm sorry. Pregnancy is supposed to be such a joyful time; it's really a bummer when you feel bad. Unfortunatly I know what you are talking about :irked: Me too. Not necessarily pelvic pain, but painful pregnancy related things already. I don't know about you, but I was 15 wks when it started and all I kept thinking was, "I have 25 weeks of this to go."

I was fine one day and then the next day every time I picked up my toddler it hurt worse and worse. By the next day I could barely get out of bed. Screaming pain from my pubic bone to my hips and across my lower back. My dr thinks it's both muscular and ligament. Basically said, sucks that it happened this early. As you get more weight on your pelvis it will probably get worse. The thing is it hurts to walk, to roll over in bed, it almost makes my eyes pop out to pick up my 18 month old. I have 23 weeks to go.

So, while I wish I had more words of encouragement for you. I can at least answer the "anyone else" part of your question and let you know you aren't alone. Rest is my best advice. Get off your feet. Find someone else to chase the children and least some of the time.

Good luck!

I remember the pubic bone pain from last time... but it started at 18weeks, and only lasted about 3days. This time I had some of it at 9 weeks :yikes: Maybe it will subside for you too... I think that the muscles and ligaments need to stretch and get used to supporting more weight is all (but that's my unprofessional opinion).

I hope you're feeling better, mama, :hugs

I don't have the pubic bone pain you are talking about, never did with dd either, but I have been having other pregnancy related discomforts already. Last time my lower ribs hurt like crazy, especially when sitting down, the last 8-10 weeks of my pregnancy. I have a short torso, so it was all the pressure of the baby and her little feet sticking into my ribs. This time, though, the rib pain has already started. I'm not sure why it's starting so much earlier. I'm 5-10 lbs less in weight than I was with dd at this time, so it's not a weight issue. Anyway, it is discouraging to think about how many weeks we have left.
