NOTHING appeals to me. I know I am hungry but I'm having a really hard time finding anything that doesn't disgust me.

I'm really active and nursing too, and I generally have to eat a lot to maintain my weight. On top of that I used to have wine with dinner or a dark beer in the evening, and now those calories are gone!

Any ideas???

I eat a ton of carbs. I can always count on being happy with a big bowl of cereal a bagel with butter, toast, muffin, etc. I've been trying to eat veggies and fruit - they don't fill me up but I know that I need to be eating as healthy as possible with being PG and BF DS since he's still very reliant on me for his nutrition.

I want "REAL" food. Beef stew, chix and mashed potatoes, meatloaf. And I would really prefer to not have to cook it!!! LOLOLOL

I'm not eating as good. Last night we went out for chinese (our anniversary), and the night before I went to a BBQ (hot dogs, hamburger, salad), the night before we had frozen convenience food.....
I was eating a bit better when I could stomach 'cooking smells' and didn't always feel on the verge of puking.

I've got a good appetite, but I find that I get full more quickly than usual. I'm eating ok, but I definitely could add more veggies & fruit. To market we go tomorrow :)

I oddly don't have much of an appetite. Well, I feel like I am starving, then I go to eat, and I can't eat much before I 'feel' full. And, I have developed an aversion to (*gasp*) chocolate....this is not cool. When I do eat, its pretty healthy, minus my cup-o-joe in the morning...

same here, not much of an appetite. nothing seems appealing. i worry a bit since i am nursing too. mostly i just eat tiny meal/snacks all day. i cant remember the last time i had a real "meal". i didnt get this until the second tri last time. then all i wanted was safe sushi like california roll and lemonade. the kind of lemonade you can get here made with lemons and honey and water. yummy. did not find out til later lemons can be good for ms. this time i did crave a crunchie bar but havent got one yet!! and i do need more fruits and veggies. last time i was working so it was easy to pop out to the health food place for veggies and rice at lunch. now i dont cook from scratch or anything much. i did make the curried rice salad from a recipe on this brd. it was easy and good.

What are you eating?
Everything. :eyesroll I am starving all of the time. Some times it is a struggle to find something that sounds good but I seriously feel like a garbage disposal - I am eating around the clock!

Each day it seems I can stomach different things. I don't have any major food adversions BUT, the m/s has kicked in since last Friday and I CANNOT go too long without eating or I start gagging. The past few nights I have had to get out of bed at 4:30-05:00am to eat a piece of toast due to the nausea and then, I feel a lot better. I am trying to concentrate on eating proteins since it is so important nutritionally in pregnancy!!! For snacks, I've been eating Cliff bars and Garden of Eatin' Blue Corn Chips - yum!!!!! In fact, I'm eating them now!!!!!!!!!

i can eat anything - no food aversions - but i am craving meat and indian food. i am really unmotivated to cook though. i usually enjoy cooking but i am not really into it lately. i also find that i don't get really "hungry". it is almost like i have a cold. food doesn't really satisfy me and that is REALLY weird for me - i love food. now it is just kind of blah. i am a little nervous about this weekend since my in-laws are coming to visit. they are vegitarians and all i want to eat is meat!!

I'm trying to follow the Blue Ribbon Baby diet. I'm finding it hard to sub that much yogurt for the milk (ewww) and difficult to get all the grains in as we're gluten free. Lately I've been pretty nauseated so I eat what sounds good.

I get cranky if I don't eat small meals throughout the day anyway, so I'm following my normal diet. I'm a junk food junkie, but I do make sure I get all the good stuff first. (Or try to, anyway! :innocent )

I've been drinking a lot of smoothies -- they slide down so easily and you can pack loads of nutrition into them. My fav. is oj, dry milk powder and a banana -- tastes just like an Orange Julius! Or milk, chocolate ice cream and peanut butter -- YUM!

I can't get enough eggs! I've been scrambling them with cheese and fresh dill and adding chopped veggies -- peppers, broccoli, tomato, etc.

My fav. healthy snack right now -- frozen banana slices. Just roll slices in yogurt and then in crushed cereal and freeze. Soooo yummy!

Basically, I'm trying to get a little of each food group at each snack/meal. I feel like I'm constantly eating but I feel good knowing I'm getting what my baby need!

scrabled eggs is one thing i just cannot handle anymore. dd and i used to share 2 eggs every morning for breakfast, 7 days a week, but I just can't stand the thought of them. I'm still fumbling for a breakfast alternative. This morning it was whole wheat penne alfredo...
I seem to only be able to eat chicken. The thought of any other meat repulses me.

My appetite has been blah lately. Nothing tastes bad, I just don't feel like eating as much as I normally do. I've been eating smaller meals and snacks throughout the day; breakfast has been usually eggs scrambled with tomato, or some toast with tahini and honey and butter. I think tomorrow breakfast will be oatmeal with maple syrup, yum. One thing I've noticed is I am really more sensitive to sweet things, and I'm finding I'm not using as much honey or maple syrup as I normally would. And I ate this chocolate bar today and yesterday from the health food store....i had to split it up because it was way too sweet. Fruit on the other hand is especially tasty to me right now. Raw veggies haven't been all that appealing to me but I've been eating them anyway...and tomorrow I am going to juice the green leaf lettuce in the fridge to get some green stuff in me.

We have such a weird assortment of foods here and we purchased them all before I knew I was pregnant. It will be another week or two before we can restock our cabinets and fridge. Ultimately this means denying many cravings. A friend took me to a little diner (and even though I have been vegan most of the past ten years) I KNEW I needed a grilled cheese. I came home sick as a dog (and it wasn't just the cheese, but all the fat). The next day m/s was so bad I was vomiting and ate 10 bites of quinoa cooked in veggie broth and 10 chocolate chips and fake, cheap lemonade..nothing else until 8pm when I was able to instruct dh how to finish the risotto I had started cooking and was making me feel sick. today I had rice Krispies from the food bank and plain soymilk.

In my first pregnancy wanted reeses pb cups (gained 70 pounds)
In my second I wanted lattes and cherry coke (really healthy)
In my third I wanted vegan soul food and ice (only gained 17 pounds, and was getting up at 3am to eat ice, even partially frozen ice)

Now, the thought of just about anything sweet makes me sick, and I have almost no cravings. I am sure that will pass.

sorry I am so talkative...all three kids sleeping and I have been up for two hours (i don't know why). yesterday I could not move today I am rushing about cleaning and ansy

it is going to be a long 8 months
