A friend of mine had her child delivered at 31 weeks due to pre-e.
She is now feeling very down about her birth experience.
Can someone point me towards some research and/or articles on mourning the birth process?
THANKS

Was her baby born via cesarean or vaginally? If cesarean, she can visit the ICAN-online site at www.ican-online.org to connect with women through the site or in person in her local community. If vaginally, she might consider reading Birthing From Within for ideas on how to process her birth experience. Remind her to be gentle with herself and allow herself the time she needs to come to peace with her experience. I will think about some more resources for her, too...

Thanks! I think it was vaginal, but I honestly can't remember. She was close to seizuring from the high BP, so maybe it was c-sec....
