...I wish I had morning sickness! I also know I am crazy, b/c I saw this topic somewhere else, and now can't find it.
I have a question for moms on their 3rd or more....did you have m/s with all your kids? I had it with the last 2, by now, and I don't yet. I know m/s is actually a good thing, and I have a love/hate relationship with it, but I am concerned that I DON"T have it yet...yep, just call me crazy :nut
I even took another test to be sure I was still pg! I have the whole sore boobs/pee all the time thing, but I'm not as tired as I was last time either. Any thoughts? Reassurance? I'm feeling a little :hide:

I had no symptoms with my first pregnancy at all. Does that make you feel better? See, you're not crazy. Nope...not at all :LOL
Seriously, my second pregnancy I had it really bad, but not until the 3rd and 4th month. This one I'm starting to get it really bad again, but again-not until 8 weeks or so along. Maybe it will just start later for you? (hopefully it won't at all. :wink)

tofumama, you're not crazy.
I felt sick all last weekend and have been feeling relatively OK this week. It started to freak me out and I was ALMOST wishing it came back- I couldn't believe it when that thought entered my head!!!!
My dh told me last night my boobs look bigger and I felt so relieved (not that they are growing), but that I was having a "symptom".
I've never miscarried, and as a new midwife, I feel like I should be relaxed and sure of myself, but it seems to be quite the opposite so far.
Take Care and revel in feeling good!

You're DEFINITELY not insane!! Or at least you are not alone in your feelings. It is hard to feel relaxed with no symptoms. I started feeling m/s at 6 weeks. One of my sisters and my best friend barely had any symptoms. Best wishes!!!! I think we are all feeling a bit cautious on one level or another. Sticky vibes your way - and to everyone else too!!!

I didn't have m/s with my first pregnancy, and (knock on wood!!) so far none this pregnancy either. I'm not as tired as I was in my first pregnancy either. I'm looking at it as a blessing ;)

I am kind of wishing for a more definite sign than this $%^& gas. Morning sickness would be good. Um, well, I *almost* lost my lunch when I took out the garbage, full of tuna cans and garlic sausage wrappings. Bleh. Of course, that would have made me hork when I wasn't pregnant.

Tofumama, I admit that I was a little reassured when the m/s kicked in. But now I'm hoping it won't be as wretched as last time. I do remember asking around and hearing that m/s is one of those ways in which every pregnancy is different. One friend's mom had four healthy daughters and m/s for just two of the pregnancies. Go figure!

I didn't have morning sickness in the beginning with this one and at times I was concerned. Now two months into it, I'm wishing for those easygoing days. My neighbor never gets sick, lucky girl!

Hi Tofumama!
I have had four beautiful pregnancies and babies and I never had morning sickness!
I actually think I missed out on something because I did not have it.
I am normally prone to nausea normally though.
The year before I had my first baby, DH and I took a bus tour of the British Isles. I sat in the back of the bus for three weeks and I was extrememly nauseated the entire time by the fumes and the fishtailing of the rear of the bus. I heaved every single night!
The following year, I was pregnant for the very first time; DH and I did a bus tour of the Continent and I was never nauseated - not for a moment! DH and I even rode a Lloyd's hovercraft across the English Channel - what a bumpy ride! Half of the tour group got off of the craft in Calais and heaved! Not me!
I did take extra pyrodoxine hydrochloride before becoming pregnant and I drank red raspberry leaf tea (rubus strigosis) all through the pregnancies, so maybe something paid off??? I guess that is one blessing I could thank G-d for - Thank you! That, and my dear DH and my four beautiful children.

Thanks mamas...I guess part of it is me not wanting to take anything for granted...I do have other symptoms, its just m/s is such a profound one...the woman who does energy work on me did say that she saw this pg. as being smooth and gentle, and she doesn't know the details of my last 2 so...I should be grateful, and be quiet! :)

This is my 3rd PG - first one could barely function - never :Puke. Second one was better than the first but definatly had M/S. This time I'm hungry and if I don't eat I feel a bit icky but otherwise I'm fine. In other words I completely understand how you are feeling! :D
