I was just reading the sticky and noticed that almost all the people who know what they are having are having girls. Do you think that means the rest of us are having boys? DD, age 4, is sure she is finally getting her little sister, and goofy, unreliable stuff like how I am carrying and the heartbeat seem to agree with her. Everyone who asks me what I am having is a little put off that we didn't try to find out, and even more put off when they realize that I'm not really concerned one way or the other! We've just always been sure we were having two girls and two boys, and now we have one of each and one on the way. So, whichever it is, it will be one step closer to our goal!
I've yet had the guts to use my prepared response. "So, what are you having?", "A baby... or at least I hope so, what if it's a monkey?!" Though when asked "Are you having a boy or a girl?" I have replied, "Yes!"
So, do some of you now know you're having boys and just haven't posted it to the sticky? And what do the rest of you "surprise" people think you are having?

I am also starting to get the "you are not finding out" attitudes when people ask and like you, I am all the old wives tales signs of girl and my ds, 4 also, says it is a girl passionately. He gets upset if you say "what if it is a brother?" so I have a tendancy to believe him as I have read too often that our little ones really do *know*.
Interesting....I never really looked at our list.....

this is my 2nd boy...i was disappointed at first because i wanted another girl to doll up, but frankly after having my hormonal fit, i'm sooooo glad it's a boy - i really wanted a football team of boys growing up and we're on our way lol! better for this world to only have one P**** Princess running around at a time anyways lol, she's definitely spoiled <G>

We are expecting our 1st boy after 2 girls. :D My oldest said her brother was in my tummy for about a year before we conceived. She was only 3 when she started telling strangers this.

i've got two boys and a girl already, so i really don't care what this one is. but i'm absolutely astonished at how many folks DO know! so strange from when i had my first... very few people knew, mostly those who went ahead with things like amnios. funny how things change...
when people ask, i say "hopefully a baby, although some days it feels like a mack truck!"

I"m having a boy. He'll be our second boy. Like you frognladybug, I had a hormonal fit and now am definently glad I'm having a boy. They'll have to share a room and this will just make more sense. I do want a girl someday though. :love

We are having a boy!!
I have an 8yo dd now and 3 neices, so this is the first boy in the fam. We wanted to find out because if we were going to have a boy, we needed to start working on getting boy things now or this baby would be looking awfully silly in 4 girls' worth of hand-me-downs. Worse yet is that each girl was born in a different season, so we have spring, summer, fall, winter in EVERY size!!
Besides, this way I have a summer's worth of garage sales before he arrives. I've already built quite the collection!!

No idea what we are having. DS2 said it was a girl for the first 6 months but has now switched to it is a boy.
The rest of us are betting girl, except some lady in the elevator.
Most people are stunned when i say we don't know- "you don't know YET??"
I have even shocked people with saying 'it doesn't matter either' when asked if all we wanted was healthy. All i want is a baby- whatever kind or way it appears.
