This is like the fourth night this week I've been up at 3 am. What the heck is up with that? I'm exhausted, and yet I can't sleep? Ugh!

I need a new late night hobby. LOL. I'm throwing a baby shower for a friend tomorrow night, so I'm working on her party favors, but the other nights I've just piddled around the Internet. I'm beginning to worry that the computer might be keeping me up even longer than I need to. I remember shortly after Bonnie was born, hanging on the computer for hours on end late at night, during our unending nursing sessions. Guess I'm prepping for that now. I'd rather be sleeping though!

Um...yes! But I don't think it's necessarily pregnancy related. I spent the day recovering from the stomach flu and I simply can't sleep or even lie down anymore.

Pregnancy-induced insomnia......how very familiar. This is my fourth go-round with it, and it bites the big weenie!! I've been taking tylenol PM for my ass pain (see other post LOL) and it doesn't even touch the sleeplessness. Thank goodness it makes my butt feel better though LOL! Can't help you to sleep, but can surely commiserate. :crap

i've been having this funny restless-leg thing going on. i can be completely and totally exhausted, and i absolutely cannot keep my legs quiet... they can't find a comfortable place, they itch and move and just can't settle down.

takes forever to go to sleep, and then sometimes starts up again when i get up to pee (how many times a night? i don't want to think about it!).

boy, i'm so glad that i KNOW it will all be cured in a few more weeks! of course, then we'll have something else waking us up...

good luck, ladies!

I just wanted to bump this post back to the top of the screen!
Has everyone's insomnia resolved itself but mine?
C'mon, I am having some serious sleep-deprevation-related mental problems, here. I'm not the only one, I know it!

Well, at least I'm getting a lot done. Really constructive stuff. Like, tonight I'm going to clean the entire house and write a novel, then tomorrow I'm thinking I'll eat a box of Entenmann's and cry until dawn because Aiden was so good for Carrie Bradshaw, and then the night after that I plan on painting myself orange and running naked through the streets screaming "Perot/Choate in '96!!!"
Anybody with me?
huh?
Anybody?

Caroline-Yes, yes, YES! Pre-pregnancy I could fall asleep by the time my head hit the pillow. But lately, even though I am utterly exhausted, It takes me about an hour to fall asleep. And then when I get up to pee (usually 1x around 3-4am) it takes another hour or so to get back to sleep! I know this isn't too bad compared to others, but it sure is annoying!

Yay! I'm going to bed, now. I know I'll spend a half hour getting back to sleep after every time I pee- which is about 3 times/night, now. Oh, well. At least I'm not up til 4 anymore. Good night and God bless, all you punk rock mommies!
