Yep, y'all are going to be completely sick of me at the end of 8mo! You'd think I'd never had a baby before! :D Well, hopefully my insanity will help others...Oh, yeah, my question
Can anyone fell their uterus externally yet? I think that's what I'm feeling, although I am not sure....(can you tell I haven't seen my midwife yet?) Seems kind of early to me, but I feel this solid/dense area from my pubic bone to mid lower belly (maybe 2-3 inches below my belly button) Anyone?

tofumama, that's probably your intestines you're feeling, unless you're much farther along than you think. Your uterus doesn't come out of your pelvis until around the 12th week of pregnancy (or somewhere about there). Before that, the uterus is a pelvic organ.
At about 20 weeks the fundus is at your belly button, so it'll be a bit until you feel it that high.
Hope this helps!

I can't feel mine, but I think every woman is different!

Don't kill me, but you could be constipated! I have felt that way a few times lately and then realize I am not as "regular" as I used to be, and when I finally go, my stomach goes back to semi-normal (although I am definitely packing on the pounds a lot better this time around!) Try some prune juice if that is your issue, and be careful with herbs like Smooth Move tea. I used that once in my first pregnancy and thought I was going to lose my baby. I think it isn't recommended for pregnancy if you check the box, which I'm sure I didn't. Anyway, it's so fun all the neurosis of your first pregnancy! Cherish it! I'm serious!
