of wether you will give birth early or late compared to your EDD
I have been having a lot of b.h. contractions and mucusy (not bloody) discharge, and I am just kinda parinoid this will mean I'm going to go early.. I know it's silly, but I just want to know what to look for!

I had those things along with painful strong contractions with my first ds and was induced because I went past my due date and had high blood pressure. I also have a lot of braxton-hicks, discharge, and more painful contractions that tug at my cervix this time also. As of this morning, my cervix was closed. I'm almost 37 weeks. I just think certain woman have these things go on more than others. I don't think it's any indication at all of when you will deliver. I'm very active and I think that might have something to do with these symptoms.

I don't think there are any indicators. With my 1st, I went over by 10 days. :irked: I never had any bh contractions. I was induced and was only a fingertip dilated when I went in. My labor was long and painful! My last one, I started having bh contractions at about 24 weeks, had tons of mucous, and had steady bh contractions for the last month or so. I was 2-3 cm dilated for about 2-3 weeks before I went into labor 6 days past my due date. Labor was 6 hours and not at all painful. I pushed for over 3 hours with my first and the next one only took 1 light push. I am excited to see how this one will go. He seems very low compared to my girls. I have had bh contractions for a while now. Not as much mucous as my last one. We will see shortly! :D

I've been having contractions since 33 weeks. I am now 37.25 weeks and hanging in. These are painful contractions that are finally doing something, not just BH....
So, I am not sure. I don't think anything is a big indicator. You can lose portions of the plug and the cervical mucus will plug it back up if it isn't time...

I don't think anything is a big indicator!
I'm having a ton of contractions this time around, but I'm also under a lot of stress trying to tie up loose ends at work and I think that is contributing to it more.
