Okay, I had a bit of a tummy before being pg, and I love wearing maternity clothes (started before I probably *needed* to :Sheepish: ), so I haven't really tried to wear any of my regular clothes in the last few months.

Well, last night I decided I wanted to wear a silky nightgown that I got at my bachelorette party. Don't get too excited--while it is leopard print and has a laced-up back, it covers everything and is VERY comfy. :love When I wore it pre-pg, I didn't really fill it out enough in the top, so it was loose and didn't really fit quite right there.

I went to put it on last night, and got it to my armpits--where it stopped. DH, who was laying in bed, and I started giggling about my newly filled-out shape. :twins: I struggled a little bit and managed to pull it down to the top of my tummy, where it stopped again. DH was really losing it by now. :rotflmao I wiggled and manuevered a little bit more and got it over my tummy (which it just barely covered), but the sight of stretched silky leopard print on my tummy combined with the "miniskirt" and the fact that I was nearly "busting" out of the top was too much.     I was laughing so hard I had to sit on the bed before I fell over. I finally got out of it and into something with a little more give, but DH and I laughed about it until we fell asleep!!

:LOL Yeah, I have that going on too. I can't believe how fast I outgrew my bras! I didn't want to buy new ones since I'll be using them for such a short time, but I finally relented when I got painful red marks and bought two new ones :eyesroll I'm up from a 36C to a 38D. I'm one who gains a lot of weight when pg though.

Mine are shrinking this time. It is so sad, I was a D before I got pregnant, (of course I was nursing then too) but now I am wearing C's and B's. I am wearing bras now that I haven't seen since I was 19!! It is crazy. Yesterday dh told me I had little girl boobies. Oh well, I guess I shouldn't complain too much, I've always wanted smaller boobies.

LOL Jenna, mine have shrunk too! I think it's because I am bfing and my milk has dried up. So they've gone back to their normal size, I'd forgotten how pitiful that was! :lol
Mine didn't really grow last pregnancy untill either the last bit or maybe not till my milk came in (can't remember). Ahh well, at least I don't need a bra! :D

Send some of that shrinking dust my way! I still fit into my 44DD bra.. barely. I hate bras to begin with, but I found this one at Walmart and it is so comfy and stretchy and oh I Hope they have a larger size. I really want tiny perky boobs to breastfeed wtih this time around, im tired of having to hold up a 20lb boob so I dont smother the baby! Ah, small perky ones, ones where you don't even need a bra! That would be SO nice!

Gawd..I'm with you...I am a scant 42G while Breastfeeding and mine have gone down some now that the millk is disappearing...but man I'm tired of having giganto boobs..on the plus side (ha) women who have breast reductions have a very tough time bfing and I wouldn't want that to happen. I am really tired of looking like those old prehistoric sculptures of earth mama though...

I recommend Blue Canoe bras for amazing comfort..but they aren't supportive if you need that.

I've actually lost some boobage and about 6 lbs so far at 18 weeks pregnant. However, I started at 190 so I could afford to lose some...

I think maybe I should explain something...

I normally barely fill a B cup. In high school one of my friends brought up the "pencil test." Stick a pencil under one side, and if it you can't hold it up, you don't need to wear a bra. I could NEVER hold it up. :innocent Now at 21-22 weeks pg, I've had to give up my C cups (which I got from the four months I was on bcp--gave up the pills, but got to keep the boobs!). I am currently wearing a soft, stretchy maternity/nursing bra that supposedly will fit sizes 38C-DD. It's very comfy, but I have no idea how big they've actually gotten. :D I'll have to go get fitted for a bra somewhere just to find out what size they say I am! :LOL

LOL! I have always been a very small busted gal. Usually during the summer I never wear a bra! I was 32B pre-pg. Now I'm 34C and it blows my mind. I catch DBF Dave staring at them sometimes and we both end up laughing. I know a C is nothing compared to you DD+ gals, but I have a very small frame! My gfs keep telling me that when I get my milk they will be even bigger, and the thought of being a D is the funniest thing to me. Is such a thing even possible???

I was sitting here tonight thinking about how much my boobs have grown this week, and I just had to dig up this thread. When this thread first came up, I said my boobs had shrunk down to a large B, well now they are, get this, an E!!! :jaw I am busting out of my nursing bras, and they hurt like crazy!! I am scared to see what happens when my milk comes in.

From a B to an E? Holy holy, Summertime Mommy! Those are some knockers! :) Mine seemed to have stopped at the large B / small C point for now. I don't think they'll get any bigger until I get my milk.

Here's a question.. I haven't bought any nursing bras yet (first timer) and everyone says to buy them before you have the baby so you're prepared, right? Well how do I know what size to get? Do you just GUESS how big you think they are going to be when your milk comes in?

What I did with my last two, was waited till the very end of my pregnancy, and bought the largest size that fit. Normally they are made so that they kind of grown with you. All of mine are D/DD/E or C/D/DD. HTH

I've heard that the 8th month is the ideal time to buy them.

I think I just bought a couple early the first time, and then got more a few weeks after delivery.

I just went out last weekend and got a couple non-nursing bras on sale- it seemed much easier, and after 2.5 years in nursing bras, I'm not anxious to get back into them any sooner then I have to. :)
