Because let me just tell you, I have one downstairs and she isn't getting hair anytime soon! This is driving me nuts. I auctioned off a Joy's Tiny Love 8" doll for Levi a few weeks ago and now I have all these cute things made for a hairless doll. The directions say to use an F hook ( I think) and whenever I try to join my "loops" the freakin' mohair gets in the way and I have no clue where I should be sticking that hook. Oh, don't get me wrong, I have IDEAS for the hook but nothing that will get me some hair on the poor dolls head. This is for a little girls birthday and it needs to get done. Any suggestions? Bandage the head and make up an accident is at the top of my list right now. I did make a really cute diaper for it and a dress with cute little wool shoes to match. The alopecia look is doing nothing for me. Thanks for reading my rant! Off to wallow in self pity.....

You could always crochet the "cap" with a smooth yarn, and then knot the mohair on around the hairline & make a ponytail. Or if you wanted to do pigtails or braids, knot some down the "part", too.
