Hi Hope no one minds me jumping in here.

I'm 13w1d and still having all day sickness. Who coined the term morning sickness anyway? My naseua and puking isn't reserved for mornings anyway.

We have two girls 6 and 20 months. They are energetic, creative, funny and very busy. We have also given birth to 2 little boys at 20 and 22 weeks due to placenta abruptions.

I am very very anxious about this pregnancy having given birth to a 22 weaker just 6 months ago. I have been tested for all clotting factors and immune disorders and everything has come back perfect. There is no reason for the abruptions. I don't smoke, don't drink, don't use cocaine, no high blood pressure, etc. Just some really sucky luck I suppose.

We are remaining optimistic and I have a great team of Midwives and Ob keeping a watchful eye over our little bean. I lost a pound at my last appointment but feel as though I may have made up for that by gaining a few the last 3 weeks. I'm on the heavier side after not losing the weight after each of the last 3 pregnancies so I'm hoping for a small weight gain. This is my 5th pregnancy in 6 short years, the last 4 starting in the last 3 years.

My DH works for a nuclear power plant. I run an in home daycare and have two additional munchkins in my care M-F. We are healthy, happy and busy. I guess that's it in a nutshell. I look forward to getting to know y'all better over the next 6-7 months.

Welcome Kris!

It sounds like you've been through a lot! I hope that this pregnancy is nice and easy (well once your m/s passes) and that you have a healthy FULL-TERM baby! You deserve it.

Take care!

AP M. - For what it's worth, last time my m/s lasted until week 14. I literally woke up and thought, "What's this strange feeling?" It was honest hunger, which I hadn't felt for months since I'd been so busy eating to keep the nausea down. And after that I only threw up one more time. I really hope that moment of relief comes soon for you...For me, too, as a matter of fact, but I'm only at 10w6d so it may be a while yet.
