I went to the new ob today--she was wonderful! She was so nice! I heard the baby's heartbeat--sounded perfect! She did say that she would recommend a c-section (after the dreaded exam that turned out to be nowhere near as bad as I thought it would), but she also said that ultimately, it's my decision. She's going to do an u/s next week, she asked me if I want to know the sex, and she told me to bring a blank tape and she'll videotape the u/s for me! I've never been able to get a videotape of a u/s before--I can't wait! I still can't get over how nice she was--I hope the other drs. there are half as nice as she is--the nurses and ma's were wonderful too.
Something else that's happened--I've lost 5 lbs since last week. I think it may just be from stress, and I have always been overweight so I don't want to worry about it too much. The dr. wasn't concerned about it, but I do find it kind of odd to lose 5 lbs. in one week in the 2nd tri. Has anybody else had this happen?
