Has anyone done the Birthing From Within class?

I am reading the book right now and think it is wonderful. There is a prenatal class taught in the BFW method and I am thinking of doing it. But since this is my second birth, AND I am reading the book, I am wondering if it is necessary. Will I get anything out of it that will be worth the six weeks and $200 for the class?

Anyone have any experience with this class?

Currently taking the sessions now and they are wonderful....I have the book too but the sessions really make it more real...the birth art is very healing!
If you can swing the $$ I say do it!

Why oh why can't somebody in central NC teach these classes? I want to take them soooo badly!

I took the class...a 4 week version of it...with my 3rd (and most recent) pregnancy. I definately got a lot out of it. Each pregnancy is different, afterall. And it really prepared me to experience and own my birth regardless as to how it happened or what happened. It was really a good emotional preperation for me...I got so much out of it.

DH and I are currently taking them ... This is my second pregnancy, and I still feel that it's worth our time and money. I think that if the book really resonates with you, it's worth at least looking into.
