I am 34 weeks pregnant and noticed that last week or sooner actually I started lightening. Heartburn has been totally gone and the baby is really, really low. I can put my whole hand between the top of my uterus and under my breasts.

I had been telling DH I was dropping but he didn't notice until yesterday. I even had some false labor last week. (another first for me)

All of my other babies, except for my miscarriage at 13 weeks in 1999, were born on their due dates or a week early. 2 were actually born right on their due dates!

So far I have been measuring right on which is not usual for me, I usually measure a few weeks ahead until the end.

Ok, so I guess my question is, can it be possible to drop this early and still go full term? I only have a suspicion we conceived late November but my periods were not regular due to breastfeeding. Maybe I am finally getting a small baby for the second time and my due date was wrong? Or can I be just carrying really low for the first time? I should know all this stuff by now. :eyesroll

From what I read, it can happen (going full term that is). I dropped a couple weeks back and can really feel relief up top, ahhh! No sign of giving birth in sight though. I think there's no hard core science to relate dropping to when you give birth.

I'm 37 weeks today, I dropped maybe 3 weeks ago (don't remember exactlly) I'm still preggo :)

With #1 he dropped around week 30 or so (but I had PTL) but he still made it full term.
