OK, so I'm suffering from some serious morning sickness this time. It started about three weeks ago and I figure I have a good 6 wks to go. I also have a horrible head cold. So this is what my other five kids are doing while I lay on the couch wishing we had cable:

1. Playing Game Cube for an average of 5 hrs each. They're normal time limit is a half hour.

2. Eating as many artificially colored popscicles as they want

3. Watching TV/videos for hours on end (usually not allowed at all in the summer and only 1/2 hour each in the winter.)

4. Cereal (Kellogs, no less) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and snacks if they like.

5. Sifting through piles and piles of clean laundry just to find a clean pair of shorts.

What about you? How's your household holding up?

Amy, I will send you that package!!! Sorry!!!
My household is falling down too (and I don't have any kids)
My dog's are eating nothing but kibble (I usually homecook for them, but handling the raw meat and shredding the veggies just isn't going well)
I can't stand to have the dog's within 6" of me--when you consider that they are used to coming with me everywhere and Havoc especially is like my right arm, this definitley has an impact on them.
The puppy "Bedlam" has learned to play ball with herself by throwing the ball against the wall and then chasing it--I find this sad, although amusing.
I've twice left the cat out all night because he didn't come in when Steve left for work and I either forget him or just don't have the energy to keep going out and calling for him--this seems petty but we have a very high coyote population and my cat thinks nothing of walking up to a dog and rubbing up against it or swatting it on the nose.

Anyone else??

:hug To you guys!
I wanna whine too!
Well, I can't sleep at night because its hot and my whole stupid leg hurts from sciatica that will not cease. I had my 8 y.o. occupy the children I care for because i was too tired to do more than sit and read (I did stay in the room and manage to feed and diaper them so noone call csd ;) ) I even let them watch tv! (Well, it was pbs kids, but still) Plus I forgot one child was coming in the afternoon. I totally just completely forgot :duh :crap I think DD played SIMs on the computer for at least three hours today. And I don't have any stupid pants that fit anymore and i can't buy any `cuz i do childcare for a living and therefore have no $$$. I thnk i may have the day off tomorrow though :) :)

Let's not talk about the laundry, Kay????

ANd yes, my toddler has watched more than his share of tv than he has in his whole life!!!!!

he has been quite good at fetching things for me though :eyesroll . "Parker, get momma a diaper so I can change you" "Parker, go get mama the phone" " Parker, hand mama the glass of ginger ale"

And oh, his favorite thing to do now is to drive his cars over my half awake body lying on the couch. I've become a real live mountain for him!! I'm such a cool mama!!! ANd oh, he has eaten his fair share of ginger ale too - "sips mama!" and he has had lots of mint ice cream ( thats what makes me feel better at the momment). I hope this pregnancy doesnt scar him permantly!!!!!!!!!

My house is falling apart. I'm glad I'm not the only one! The laundry is overwhelming me, but the smell of dirty laundry and the water in the washer makes me gag. I have to take showers as little as I can because the water really gets me.

I'm so glad that I have a terrific husband. Last night he took our 3 kids plus my niece and nephew out to eat by himself. He is planning on taking them all out today as well, leaving me home to rest or do whatever. He has been doing all the dishes, cleaning the kitchen, and fixing most of the meals. Pregnancy makes HIS life harder as much as it does mine!
