hi! i don't post here often, but read all the time! anyway, you were saying you couldn't feel your uterus. try this... lay on a hard floor (has to be the floor!) and feel between your pubic bone and belly button. see if you feel anything different (doesn't necessarily have to feel hard, unless you're having a contraction.) let me know if you felt it!
good luck!

I tried something like that, but couldn't feel a distinct place where it got harder, but over a few inches, the feeling changed. I guess that's it then?!

I just tried again, and now nothing really changes. Maybe my belly's too squishy!

i have to lay flat down on my back and sort of pick up all that stretched out skin and fat from having my other babies and start feeling super low (like at my vagina and inch up (or rather centimeter up) until I feel that pubic bone right in the middle of where a string bikini would fit (not that I would EVER again wear something like that). then above the pubic bone there is a little area that feels muscular (you have to push pretty hard (harder than you click on a keyboard, hard like the pressure when you snap your fingers I think) and go up in tiny increments until you feel the top. I have a drop off between where my uterus ends and where my guts start. i used to thin the intestine area was where my uterus should be (closer to my belly button but even at 12 weeks it is muck lower. basically my whole baby is hidden under the pubic bone and just above and even skimpy underwear should cover the whole uterus at 12 weeks. perhaps at fourteen weeks a bit higher. my belly button is still way out of the picture and my midwife measured me at 11 cms last tuesday. i hope that helps. i never noticed my uterus in my other three pregnancies until at least 17 or 18 weeks when it was nearer to the belly button. good luck.
