Recovery after a loss.

How long does it take you to recover after a loss??

or are you still struggeling with day to day life???

in my own experiences it was about five months before my body was back to it's old self...but I was pretty ill for a couple of those...

Physically it didn't take that long, but emotionally it sure took mea while. Even after we found out we were pregnant again I wasn't "back to my old self". I think any loss changes you forever.

Physically it took me a few weeks. Emotionally, I was a totaly wreck (not getting out of bed ect) for over a month at least. And then back and forth for months. Now I'm ok most of the time. Just a mess around the anniversarys. It's been 3 1/2 years since my loss.

I agree, I think loss changes you forever, no matter what kind.
