July has only 45 and the 2 lists after us do not have a list for me to count up.

At my hospital tour last night, they told me this was their busiest time of the year. So, doesn't surprise me.

So, where the heck are all 62 mamas? Come out of lurkdom ladies! Show your pretty bellies!

I caught a glimps of the list of women due in the couple weeks around when I am at my hospital and it was massive! I'm scared they won't have anywhere to put me :LOL

I read on babycenter that the census (or social security? ) reports that July and August have the highest number of births. Seems to be true. I see pregnant women everywhere.

The lactation specialist I talked to said that August is the absolute busiest time of the year too.

Why do we do this to ourselves? It seems to me that July/August would be the WORST time to purposely be pregnant. (now that I'm going through it, I totally agree) Next time, give me a March baby, please. I'm sooooo hot all the time. Our AC is running constantly. So....why is this time of the year so popular? Something must be in the air in October/November.

Yeah, July is a tough time to be pregnant....but then there is a part of me that is thrilled that I'll be bringing home a baby in warm sunny August. :)

I know why there are soooo many in August!! It is just starting to get cold in November with Winter starting, so we all have to snuggle up to keep warm!! :) At least that's my excuse!! :wink Sound logical???

It's all that holiday lovin' going on in the fall I think !

This will be our 2nd late-August baby, so maybe I'm only fertile once a year ? Who knows !

Yeah, I think it's that good Holiday feeling.

Now there are so many August birthdays in my family (including me, my ex, my grandfather, my uncle, and now dd #2) that nobody is going to be able to keep up. We also have 4 in July, 4 in September, and 4 in October... that leaves about 5 or 6 for the rest of the year!
