how could i have missed this one? although most of our things are in boxes, and the majority of them containing books, as i'm a glutan for punishment, i continue to purchase more books!! this book is also helpful, and maybe some of you might agree. i know some of us are in different places with our loss(es), but the title is self explanatory.

Pregnancy After A Loss

Carol C. Lanham copyright 1999

if any of you get a chance to read this, let me know what you think! yes, i'm a complete book freak!

as anthony and i pack up and move to a new place, w/ a
new job, we're going in head first in finally trying again. hopefully, this is the right decision. i've wavered on this more than dh, as he wanted to conceive immediatly. but, as i'm sure some of ya'll can relate, it's not as easy as it seems.....i hope everyone is doing well. though i've seen many losses after i shared Mahlah's story.....

comfort to you all,
Mahlah's ma,

Thank you Karen!

I was like you, I read EVERY book I could get my hands on. I've posted some resourses on a few other threads and giving a quick opinion of each book, you may find some of them helpfull.

Breavement Magazine has some wonderful books also.

When we've suffered such a profound loss, I think it's natural to want information. We can't get a true answer to why we lost our child, but we can take out the obvious. I know I had a lot of self blame. Reading helped me realize that I could not have stoped this and that I did nothing wrong.

Thinking of you and your sweet Mahlah. The move will bring on some new emotions for you.

As for TTC again, I understand. You'll be opening yourself up to so much. There are a few new threads here an tyring again that you might find helpfull.

It is overwhelming to see how many losses we've shared here. However, when I think about how 1 in 4 pregnancies ends in a loss, I'm just so thankfull this forum is here to support the mothers who need it.

I hope the move goes well for you. Keep us posted on how things are going.

I have that book and I think it's great. Of course I am a major book worm too. My extras are in overflowing boxes until I get more shelf space.

It's a keeper!
