Hello All,

It is good to be back. Even if the boards had not been down, my presence here would have been limited. Mammabliss and I just had our second child on November 1st. Our lovely binary baby (110101) is doing wonderfully with the help of his big sister who will be turning three on 11/22. In fact, our daughter was present during the birth. It was amazing to watch her during the birth. She seemed confused for part of it, but when our son was all the way out, she shouted "It's a Baby!"

Some stats:
Born 02:53 AM, 11/01/01
Sex: Male
Weight: 7lbs, 4oz
Height: 20 inches
Hair: Loads of brown
Eyes: Brown
Poop: Yellow and seedy

He took to breast like a duck to water. He is cosleeping through most of the night, and he loves to play with everyone, especially his furry cat Chase.

I hope all is well with everyone and you are happy to be back to our global dotcommune.

Cheers and Happy Holidays!

Papabliss :D

Congratulations! I am having a good chuckle over the poop update. It's amazing when you become a parent how much the color and consistency of poop can become so important!
Blessings on your family!

Mazel Tov! Give the new guy a kiss and hug from our gang here in Southern CA. May he grow up strong, gentle, and inspiring beauty all around him.

Great to have these boards up again... especially with all these elaborate features. (I'm gonna need a manual).

Also to you and mamabliss... we'll get some sleep for ya both, okay?

Papabliss - good to see you again! Wanted to say congrats from myself and for piepoppa who has been studying for his finals lately - this whole semester has been really intense for him and for me. He's home with our dd (she was 7lbs 4 oz too!) most of the time and I'm sure will come here sometimes again once vacation starts.
I am so very glad for you - really, what wonderful news! Sleep well and play well!

Hi and thanks for all the wonderful words about my new son. It is a real treat to be on these boards while a new little one is sitting in my lap.

To pina la nina, congratulations on your new one. I know you probably have had many of the same thoughts as me about the state of the world right now when looking into the new eyes of the future.

This morning, before I went to work, my son and I (he is one month old today) stood by the window looking out at the snow-covered world. All was quite except for George Harrison music on the radio. We held each other and I told him about the Beatles. I hope he will have the stability of music in the world that I grew up with. George Harrison's songs brought back memories of when I was much younger, and of where I was when John Lennon was shot.

While My Guitar Gently Weeps,

papabliss.
