I'm feeling so tired every afternoon! Even if I don't do much in the morning, I'm still very tired after lunch. I have to have a cup o' joe to keep going. Sometimes I will nap with my 3year old dd, but I have a 6yr. old ds as well... and I feel so bad about leaving him with nothing to do. He usually ends up watching PBS or a video, sometimes gets to play a computer game (*cringe*).
What do you do to keep going? I'm feeling guilty, and tired!!!

I am one sleepy chicken... I hear you, mama! Since I am still working full time i make every effort to get to bed as early as possible at night... i nap alot on the weekends...
I have noticed that I have more energy on the days I remember to take my fish oil supplement.
Good luck!

All I want to do lately is nap! I'm trying hard to eat well and I'm taking my prenatals plus added iron and folic acid. I just got up from a nap, actually and want to crawl right back in bed but I need to get stuff done.

Me too. I don't have much of an appetite either, so I'm blaming it on the heat. :) I lie down a couple times a day and usually take at least one nap. I'm a firm believer in doing what my body is telling me to do!
The kids have been so great about it -- even my youngest, who isn't even 3 yet, has been really sweet and taking care of me. :love

I think the answer to your question is "Yes, everyone else!" - lol. My 3 year old has been watching videos in the afternoon so I can sleep when her sister does.

I wish! "This little piggy went to the fridge, this little piggy ate chocolate, this little piggy ate ice cream, this little piggy ate pizza... And this little piggy went weee weee wee wee wee from drinking so much orange juice!"

I am dragging every afternoon as well. I try to nap when Christopher naps.

Anna, ice cream is one of the few things I do feel like eating! In fact I had some this morning for breakfast... :innocent It is somewhat disturbing to me to not feel like eating, as I usually have such a hearty appetite and love of food...

I haven't had much of an appetite either lately! Which is strange for me when preggers!! Although, I do LOVE my ice cream!
Well, glad to hear I'm not alone in this exhaustion, although I'm not glad you're all so tired too! Take care of yourselves.
I just feel guilty about it sometimes... like I'm doing my poor son a disservice by making him entertain himself when he begs for attention. Yes, I do know this is OK, and I try to get him involved in alone play.. he just really wants me to do stuff with him a lot!
Oh well... one day at a time!

YES!!! I'm so tired that even with a nice long afternoon nap, I'm falling asleep at the laptop on here at night... Even now... snoooooorrrreee...
I get a less sleepy day about twice a week, thankfully. I think I'm more exhausted on the days I try to do too much.
Nicolas is such a sweetie, and big helper. Twice he's napped at the same time; but usually he is watching videos, PBS, playing on the computer, or playing board games against his stuffed Pikachu (from Pokemon) and Clifford the big red dog toys. He understands mommy has to rest so the babies will grow big and healthy.

Yeah. Yawn. My daily schedule has been: get up, eat breakfast (I have been a breakfast eater since I was a baby, my mom said that the world had to stop until I had my cheerios), read the paper, clean up around the house a bit, go swimming, come home, eat lunch, take a nap (sometimes until Jo comes home at 5:30), get up, think about dinner, spend the evening puttering...
Sometimes in there I manage to squish in things like going to the grocery store and doing laundry. Tuesdays and Thursdays are big monkey wrenches in the rhythm now that I have a prenatal swim class from 6:15 - 7:15!

aahhh.. swimming... sounds so nice!
Wish I could find somewhere to do that! I did take the kids to a public (for a fee) pool the other day. It's so refreshing, though not relaxing when caring for the kids.
I took a nice long nap yesterday. I'm hoping I can do that again today ;)
I'm really looking forward to a break in this heat!! It's supposed to cool off this weekend. I'm hoping my nausea will go away with the heat.
