How beautiful to have heard the heartbeat!! :heartbeat
Shyly, I've been feeling the same way you have d/t my previous losses.
Do you ladies know what week you are "guaranteed" to hear a heartbeat? Is a fetoscope as sensitive as a doppler? I'm going on 10 weeks now, but I don't want my m/w to even try until it's definitely possible to hear it. The first time I was pregnant, we couldn't get a heartbeat -- which led to the u/s that brought us terrible news. So, I still have some PTSD surrounding fetoscopes. So, anyone know what week is good to listen with a fetoscope?
Thanks! And Congrats again!! :love

Thanks, Monica. I agree that hearing a heartbeat would give me incredible peace of mine. I'm still so paranoid about everything so a heartbeat would be magical indeed.
And he/she is your child....brag away! :D

I had some spotting this morning, so I went in to the doctor and had an ultrasound! Me and baby are fine, and I am so happy that I have "proof of life" in there. He/she was doing jumping jacks or something....it was so cute! I didn't hear the heartbeat, but they said it was normal!

It depends on the Doppler. With a 3MHz you should hear at 9-10 weeks. With a 2MHz 11-12 weeks. With a fetoscope you wouldn't hear until 18-20 weeks
