I've been feeling GREAT but last night I got violently ill. We were in a restaurant and all I had eaten was a roll. I started to feel sick and when the waitress came with our salads she asked if I was ok -- I was clearly not looking good. A few bites into the salad and I had to leave the restaurant.
My DD and I waited in the car while my DH paid the bill. At this point I was in agony -- hot flashes/chills; nausea and severe cramping. We headed home -- a 45 min. drive -- but I was in so much pain I couldn't talk or even nod so my husband headed for the hospital. Then I began vomiting and that made me feel much better so we went home.
I was only experiencing much milder cramps, so I went to bed and sipped broth and water. That was almost 24 hours ago and I'm still crampy. I called and the oncall doctor said maybe I have a stomach bug so to hydrate and rest. I have a history of kidney stones and my primary care doctor recently told me (since my last prenatal) that he thinks I might have gallstones.
My DH wants me to see the OB tomorrow -- I guess to hear the heartbeat and know everything is OK. I think he's overreacting and it's a bug or a stone flare up. Opinions?
